AdvertDrive Privacy Policy

1. Applicability & Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all services offered by AdvertDrive (“we,” “us,” “our”), including:

• AI-powered chat widgets
• Voice agents
• SMS messaging
• Email communications
• Social media messaging (e.g., Instagram, Facebook)
• Marketing via client social media content
• Operational automation for dealerships and other clients

2. No DPPA or DMV/MVA Data Collection

We do not collect, access, or store motor vehicle records from DMV or MVA sources, such as VINs, driver’s license numbers, accident history, registration details, or insurance information. We only process personal contact data provided directly by users or obtained from dealership/client CRM systems.

3. Personal Data We Collect & Purpose of Use

In line with the Maryland Online Data Privacy Act (MODPA), we collect only the information necessary to provide our services:

• Name
• Phone number
• Email address (optional)
• Inquiry intent or interest
• AI conversation content
• Social media interaction content
• Voice call recordings and transcripts (only after explicit consent)

Purpose of use:

• Respond to inquiries via any channel (chat, voice, SMS, email, social media)
• Schedule or coordinate follow-ups
• Deliver marketing content or manage client social media campaigns
• Power and improve AI agents
• Comply with applicable laws and messaging regulations

4. Consent for Voice Recordings

We notify all participants when a voice call is being recorded. Consent is obtained when the participant continues the call after notification. Participants may opt out or end the call if they do not agree.

5. Third-Party Data Sharing

We may share your data with:

• Dealerships or clients you interact with
• CRM software providers
• Client websites and knowledge bases
• Performance analytics providers

We do not sell personal information. Categories of third parties are disclosed to meet MODPA requirements.

6. Consumer Rights Under MODPA

• Delete their data (unless retention is required by law)
• Portability – request data in a usable format
• Third-Party Disclosure – learn which categories of third parties have received their data
• Opt-Out of targeted advertising, data sales, or profiling

We respond to rights requests within 45 days, extendable by another 45 days if necessary.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill service purposes, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your data in accordance with MODPA requirements.

9. No Sale or Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising or profiling. If this changes, we will provide clear notice and an easy opt-out method.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always include the current effective date.
